聽神談【「欲望」與相信神的給予】
尼爾：你真的在任何時候，永遠都給每個人他們所欲望（desire）的？
是的，我親愛的，我確實如此。
你們的人生是一個「你所欲望的」以及「對於你所欲望的，你相信你可以得到」的反映。
我無法給你「你不相信你可以得到的」——不論你有多渴望——因為我不會違背你自己對它的想法。我無法那樣做。這是法則。
「相信自己不能」得到某一事物，就和「沒有欲望」得到它是一樣的，因為這兩者的結果都一樣。
你們永遠只會被給予「你相信會給與你」的經驗。

Your life is a reflection of what you desire, and what you believe you may have of what you desire.
I cannot give you what you do not believe you may have—no matter how much you desire it—because I will not violate your own thought about it. I cannot. That is the law.
Believing that you cannot have something is the same thing as not desiring to have it, for it produces the same result.
You will always be given the experience you believe you will be given.
