That is the voice of wisdom. The first step in having an effortless life is to finally admit "You don't know".
那是個智慧之聲。要「擁有一段較不費力的人生」的第一步，就是終於願去承認自己並不知道。

Because you don't know what really needs to happen. Your physical mind, your ego structure is designed to simply allow you to experience "What's happening?"
因為你並不知道「什麼才是真正需要發生」的事。
你們的物質心智(頭腦)、你們的自我意識(小我)結構，僅只是設計來讓你體驗「什麼是當下在發生的事」。
It's not designed to figure out "What is going to happen?"
你們的頭腦心智並非設計來想出(料想)：「接下來要發生什麼事？」
You don't know what the best thing is that needs to happen for you until it happens.
在需要發生的事發生之前，你並不會知道「對你而言什麼是最好的事」。
And then, your physical mind can enjoy it
而在那時候，你的物質心智可以享受當下正在發生的事。

You don't know the stories behind everyone and it is not wise to assume that you do.
你並不知道他人背後的故事是什麼，而「認為自己已知道」是個不明智的作為。
Q：How would you suggest I redefine that?
Q：那你會建議我該如何重新定義它呢？
I just told you.

You don't know the stories behind everyone, even though you might assume that you do.
你並不知道每個人背後的故事，即使你可能認為你知道。
In other words, you have a shorthand saying in your planet, " You cannot judge a book by its cover."
換句話說，你們星球上有句簡短的箴言這麼說：「勿以貌取人。」
You have to read the story in each individual to understand what the reasons are, why that might be happening in the way that it looks?
你必須讀過每一個人的個別故事，才能夠了解他們的理由為何，了解為何會以其「外表看起來的方式」在發生。
Because you don't really know why it's happening that way.
因為，你並不真的知道為什麼它會以那樣的方式發生。
The first step to wisdom is to know you don't know what you think you do.

Remember again, you have another clever saying on your planet, "Trouble comes not so much from what you don't know, but from what you think you know that just isn't itself."

All of you have been trained to make certain assumptions about what things mean based on how they look. You are more often than not completely wrong.
你們全都已經被訓練成「根據事物的外觀」在對事物做臆測(臆說、下結論)。
(那使得)你們(的臆測或結論)往往是完全錯誤的。
Get used to the fact that you don't really know, and then you can take some time to really investigate, if it's exciting to you, to find out exactly what is actually going on, for that person.
要習慣勇於面對「你們有些時候真的並不了解」的事實，而因此你們能夠真的花些時間去探究原因——如果那是你有興趣要找出（對那人確實有效）的原因。
And what their story is really all about instead of just making a shorthand snap judgment that says, "Oh! I know what's going on, because it looks like such and such."
以及探究出他們故事的癥結點，而非只是簡短快速地妄下評論：「喔！我知道發生了什麼，因為它看起來就像這樣這樣。」
No, you don't.
不，你並不知道。
You haven't got a clue in those cases.
你在這些狀況中還沒抓到重點的線索。
That's what is really behind the choices that have been made there.
那重點才是真正「讓當事者做出該選擇」背後的原因。
