「棄絕」某東西並不是以不同的方式利用它。棄絕是，根本不去用它。性——以及性的美、性的激情、性的興奮、性的神奇、性的純然以及恣意的喜悅與樂趣——是我賦予你們的東西。棄絕它就是棄絕我 (To renounce it is to renounce me.)。
 
所以，不要棄絕性，也不要棄絕人生中我賦予你們的任何美好、神奇又有趣的東西。只要棄絕你們可能對它的沉溺上癮 (addiction)。

Renouncing something is not using it in a different way. It is not using it at all. Sex—and the beauty of sex, and the passion of sex, and the excitement of sex, and the wonder of sex, and the pure, unbridled joy and fun of sex—is something that I have given you. To renounce it is to renounce me. 
 
Therefore do not renounce sex, nor any of the good and wonderful and fun things that I have given you in life. Simply renounce any addiction you may have to them.
