聽神談【關於「身體」與「健康」】
健康是你「身體、心智與靈魂之間的一種和諧」的宣告。
當你不健康時,要注意看看是你身心靈的哪部分不和諧。也許是該讓你的身體休息的時候了,但你的心智卻不知道該怎麼做。也許是你的心思長期駐在一些負面的、憤怒的思維裡,或總是為明日在擔憂,而讓你的身體無法放鬆。
你的身體會展示真相(truth)給你看。只要注意觀察它。注意它顯示些什麼給你,傾聽它在告訴你些什麼。
尊重你的身體,讓它保持在良好狀態。它是你所擁有的最重要的物質工具。它是一個莊嚴華美的工具,一種非凡的器具。你可以讓它蒙受無盡的濫用,而它仍會繼續盡它所能地為你服務。但你為什麼要減低它的效能呢?為什麼要濫用它的系統呢?
如我告訴過你們的,要每天做靜觀(meditate),以讓你能把你的頭腦安靜下來和體驗你與我的一體,而現在我告訴你,要每天做運動。
運動是身體的靜觀。(Exercise is the meditation of the body.)
運動能讓你感覺到你與所有生命的一體。沒有比像你在運動時那樣,可讓你覺得活力充沛並明顯覺得自己是生命的一部分。

Health is an announcement of agreement between your body, mind, and spirit. When you are not healthy, look to see which parts of you disagree. Perhaps it is time for you to rest your body, but your mind does not know how. Perhaps your mind is dwelling on negative, angry thoughts, or worries about tomorrow, and your body cannot relax.
Your body will demonstrate the truth to you. Simply watch it. Notice what it is showing you, listen to what it is saying.
Honor your body. Keep it in good shape. It is the most important physical tool that you have. It is a magnificent tool, an extraordinary instrument. You can subject it to untold abuse, and it will continue to serve you as best it can. But why reduce its effectiveness?Whyabuse its systems?
Even as I have told you to meditate every day so that you may quiet your mind and experience your Oneness with Me, now I tell you to exercise each day.
Exercise is the meditation of the body.
It, too, allows you to feel Oneness with all of Life. You will never feel so alive, and so much a part of Life, as when you exercise.
